Barbecue Breast of Lamb




Recipe:


  • 3 lb. Lamb Breast
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 3 medium Oranges
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • Cup Chili Sauce
  • tsp. Coarse Pepper
  • 2 tblsp. Honey
Preparation:
  • Cut lamb breast into serving size portions.
  • Grate 1 tblsp. peel and squeeze ? cup juice from 1 orange.
  • In a small bowl mix orange peel, juice, chili sauce and remaining ingredients.
  • Set aside.
  • Place lamb in open roasting pan and pour sauce mixture over it.
  • Place in 325 F oven for 2 ? hours or until tender, basting with sauce occasionally.
  • Meanwhile, slice rest of oranges crosswise.
  • During the last 15 minutes of cooking time, add orange slices to lamb to heat through.
