Corned Beef with Dijon Glaze



Recipe:


  • 3 lb. Corned Beef Brisket
  • 4 cups Water
  • Cup White Vinegar
  • Cup Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 8 whole Cloves
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • Cup Dijon Mustard
  • Cup Orange Marmalade
  • 2 tsp. Horseradish
  • Cup Worcestershire Sauce
Preparation:
  1. Place brisket in dutch oven.
  2. Add water, vinegar, bay leaves, garlic, cloves and 2 tblsps. Worcestershire Sauce.
  3. Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 2 ? to 3 hours or until tender.
  4. In a small pot, combine dijon mustard, marmalade, horseradish and Cup Worcestershire Sauce.
  5. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until bubbly.
  6. Remove brisket and drain. Discard liquid.
  7. Return brisket to oven and spread with glaze.
  8. Bake at 350 F for 20 minutes.
